Jonathan has been Musical Director/Accompanist for over 30 theater productions, and is the choral director at Corinth HS/MS. Most recently, he was Musical Director for Shrek: The Musical for the ACS 2022 Summer Theatre Workshop. Some notable productions he has musically directed include: Anything Goes, Little Shop of Horrors, Bare: A Pop Opera, RENT, Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr., and 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. At age eight, Jonathan started piano lessons and continued his training for over two decades. Jonathan has earned four platinum and two gold rankings with his choruses over three years in the "Great East Festival" and his Select Chorus was chosen to perform at Carnegie Hall in 2014. He is actively involved in the local community through the Glens Falls Lions Club and promoting advocacy for the deaf and hard of hearing.
Summer 2023 Staff - Grease School Edition
Sarah Lueck Choreographer This is Sarah’s 15th year with Adirondack Center Stage. She began by acting in the ensemble in Willy Wonka Jr. in 2009. She continued to act on stage in numerous productions with both Adirondack Center Stage as well as the Corinth MS/HS Drama club. Throughout her years on stage she has dabbled in many aspects of theater. She was assistant costume designer for The Lion King Jr. and props master for Willy Wonka. However, dancing is Sarah’s true passion. She has been dancing since she was three. She took 14 years of classical ballet classes at Adirondack Repertory Dance Theater, as well as 5 years of tap and 7 years of jazz/ musical theater. She was Assistant choreographer for Alice in Wonderland, It’s Up to You NY, New York, and The Lion King Jr. Sarah then transitioned to choreographer for The Night Before Christmas as well as Theater at a Distance (TAAD), Seussical, and Shrek the Musical. Through college she took classes in ballet, jazz and musical theater dance. Sarah recently graduated from The Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam with a B.M. in Music Education, and will be starting as the beginning band teacher at Corinth Central School this coming fall. |
Lauren Ogden Director Lauren is excited to return to Adirondack Center Stage as Director for this summer's production of Grease: School Edition. Working with the ACS kids is an absolute blast! Her favorite part of directing is witnessing the “aha” moments when an actor has a great idea or realization. She serves on the ACS board, and has been involved with the program in one way or another since its founding in 2008. She began as an actor in the program, and has written several plays for ACS, including Christmas Around the World (2019) and a musical adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2013). She won a TANYS award for her costume designs in ACS’s Disney’s The Lion King (2017), and returned two years ago as Director for Seussical and last summer's Shrek the Musical. In addition to her role as Director, she also works to update the ACS website. She's passionate about supporting local arts organizations, and has been involved in a wide variety of theatre groups around the area, including Glens Falls Community Theatre, Hudson River Shakespeare Co., Schuylerville Community Theatre, Lake George Youtheatre, Hubbard Hall, Saratoga Arts and Saratoga Children’s Theatre. She's also fluent in French and Spanish and teaches French at Troy High School. This year she choreographed the Troy HS production of The Addams Family Musical. Meghan Maynard Costume Designer This is Meghan’s seventh year with the ACS Summer Program. She is thrilled to take on the commitment of the head costume designer. Meghan is currently Wardrobe Supervisor at Capital Repertory Theatre in Albany. Meghan also costumed several productions while at SUNY Oneonta including: Stop Kiss, The Good Person, Colony Collapse, Peter and the Starcatcher, Romeo and Juliet; as well as solo designer on The Actor’s Nightmare and Titanic. She has also assisted in costuming numerous productions with Corinth MS/HS Drama club over the years. Her ultimate goal is always to help the actors shine and create a visual masterpiece for the audience. |
Katherine Maynard Stage Manager Katherine’s love for theatre runs deeply, as she has vivid memories of her parents bringing her to Broadway as a young girl. She is extremely proud of her most important role as Mother to four outstanding children, all of whom love the theatre as much as she does. While being onstage is not her aspiration; we are lucky to have her backstage as her strengths for organization, management, and creativity are endless. She has worked with the Corinth MS/HS Drama club for several years in areas such as student management, costume design, prop production, lead hair and make-up artist and stage management. Katherine holds a Master’s of Special Education degree from Salem State College, which aids in her ability to interact and connect with our actors with an increased understanding of how they learn and communicate. Kendra Schieber Volunteer Producer, Grant Writer, and Set Painter Kendra is an artist and arts enthusiast. She has volunteered as producer and grants administrator for the Summer Theatre Workshop for many years, each year successfully reapplying for multiple program grants. In the program's second year, she directed Willy Wonka Jr. She has been a set and props painter and designer for ACS productions and for plays with Glens Falls Community Theatre as well. Kendra attended the Art Students League in New York City and University of Pennsylvania. She runs her own business, The Sign Studio, which has given Corinth, the surrounding area, and parts of Bucks County, PA a collection of picturesque signs and logos for businesses, churches, and municipalities. She volunteers as President of To the Himalayas With Love, Inc. and Secretary of the Corinth Merchants' Association. She is a founding member and past president of The Philadelphia Calligraphers' Society. She loves traveling, skiing, canoeing, hiking, and plein air painting. |
