Lauren Ogden Director Lauren has been involved with the program since its founding in 2008. She began as an actor in the program, and has written several plays for ACS, including Christmas Around the World (2019) and a musical adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2013). She won a TANYS award for her costume designs in ACS’s Disney’s The Lion King (2017), and as Director for Seussical (2021). In addition to her role as Director, she currently serves as Vice President of the ACS Board. She's passionate about supporting local arts organizations, and has been involved in a wide variety of theatre groups around the area, including Glens Falls Community Theatre, Hudson River Shakespeare Co., Schuylerville Community Theatre, Home Made Theatre, and Saratoga Children’s Theatre. During the school year, she teaches French and Spanish at Troy High School. She is the Faculty Advisor for the Troy French Club, chaperones Ski Club, and helps with Troy HS theatre productions. Julieana Joss Costumer Julieana has been a part of ACS for 4 years, however Annie is her first show as part of the production team. Previously she has performed in Adk Center Stage’s productions of, Shrek the Musical (Ugly Duckling), Grease (Jan), The Spongebob Musical (Electric Skate/ensemble), and The Wizard fo OzI (Tin Man). Julieana has also done extensive in backstage work, helping paint and design sets as well as working on tech crew for South High’s production of Hadestown. Lacey Gonzalez Assistant Costumer Lacey has been with ACS for 4 years, participating in Grease (Marty), Sponge Bob (lead dancer) and last year behind stage. This is Lacey’s first time costuming for ACS and is beyond excited to see this show come to life. When Lacey isn’t with ACS she enjoys acting with her college participating in the Adam’s family (Ancestor), lacey loves to paint, go hiking with friends and enjoys attending other close friends and family’s plays. |
Jonathan Granger Music Director Jonathan has been Musical Director/Accompanist for over 30 theater productions, and has worked with ADK Center Stage since 2018. Some notable productions he has musically directed include: School of Rock, The Little Mermaid, Willy Wonka, Seussical, Shrek, Grease, Anything Goes, Little Shop of Horrors, Bare: A Pop Opera, RENT, Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr., and 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. At age eight, Jonathan started piano lessons and continued his training for over two decades. Jonathan has earned four platinum and two gold rankings with his choruses over three years in the "Great East Festival" and his Select Chorus was chosen to perform at Carnegie Hall in 2014. He is actively involved in the local community through the Glens Falls Lions Club and promoting advocacy for the deaf and hard of hearing. Sarah Lueck Choreographer This is Sarah’s 17th year with Adirondack Center Stage. She began by acting in the ensemble in Willy Wonka Jr. in 2009 and has been with our company since. Sarah has choreographed The Night Before Christmas, Seussical, Shrek the Musical, Grease, and The Spongebob Musical, and The Little Mermaid. This previous summer Sarah was awarded "Excellence in Choreography" from the TANYS Roving Adjudicators Awards for her choreography for The Wizard of Oz. Sarah's other theater experience includes directing Adirondack Center Stage's The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and Coney Island Christmas, as well as costuming Corinth Drama Club's The Little Mermaid. During the school year, she teaches 4-6 grade band and 5th grade general music at Corinth Central Schools. Connor Dearborn Assistant Choreographer (Junior Staff) Connor Dearborn has been performing on stage for nearly a decade, and he is developing a strong foundation in dance, musical theater, and performance. He has trained extensively in ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and modern dance through Joy of Movement Dance Studio, Saratoga City Ballet, and ACE Entertainment. In addition to performing in numerous theatre productions, Connor is also a student dance instructor, helping teach young ballet students. As Assistant Choreographer for Adirondack Center Stage, Connor is excited to share his passion for dance, encourage young performers to grow in confidence, and help bring each production to life through dynamic and engaging choreography. |
Alyssa Petteys Stage Manager Since her start in the theatre industry, Alyssa has participated and volunteered in over 30 musical productions. This year marks her 10th year with Adirondack Center Stage. She began as a set painter and actor in the program in 2017 during Disney’s The Lion King. Since then, she has performed many different roles for ACS and other local companies including Costume Designer, Production Assistant, Assistant Choreographer, Dance Captain, Vocal Captain, Hair and Makeup Assistant, and Sets and Props Painter. Most recently, Alyssa was Costume Designer for Adirondack Center Stage’s 2024 productions of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and The Spongebob Musical, where she was awarded “Meritorious Achievement in Costume Design” from the TANYS Roving Adjudicator Awards. Phebe Morganstern Assistant Director Phebe has been involved with Adirondack Center Stage since the age of 8 when she participated in the production of Alice in Wonderland. She has stuck around ever since then as an actress. Notable ACS roles include Glinda (The Wizard of Oz), Pearl Krabs (The Spongebob Musical), Frenchie (Grease), and Sugarplum Fairy/Gingy (Shrek the Musical). This year she will return as the Assistant Director. She was also involved in several of the Corinth CSD drama productions. |
