Cassie has been with the Summer Theatre Workshop as Director, Assistant Director, Stage Manager, Choreographer, and Director for several years. She studied dance with Sharon Sena for 16 years at "Joy of Movement". Acting roles include "Cobweb" in A 1920s Midsummer Night's Dream, "Veruca Salt" in Willy Wonka Jr,"Grace" and "Caterpillar in Alice in Wonderland. In addition to her onstage roles, she has helped extensively with set painting, costumes, choreography, stage management, and wherever help is needed. In the production of It's Up To You, New York, New York in addition to her acting role as "Suzy", she worked as Assistant Director and Choreographer, and directed the 2017 production of Disney Lion King Jr. and Disney The Little Mermaid Jr. in 2018. She is a dedicated director of the Adirondack Center Stage programs and is excited to be working on this summer's production.
Summer Theatre Workshop 2019 Staff
This is Meghan’s third year with the Summer Program. She is thrilled to take on the commitment of the head costume designer. Meghan is a Senior at SUNY Oneonta majoring in Theatre and Fashion. Her passion has always been theatre and she aspires to work on Broadway. Meghan has costumed several productions while at SUNY Oneonta including: Stop Kiss, The Good Person, Colony Collapse, Peter and the Starcatcher, Romeo and Juliet; as well as solo designer on The Actor’s Nightmare and Titanic. She has also assisted in costuming numerous productions with Corinth MS/HS Drama club over the years.
Her ultimate goal is always to help the actors shine and create a visual masterpiece for the audience.
Megan fell in love with theatre from a young age and is so blessed to be able to continue to grow in her love and passion working with Corinth. She is currently a student at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas studying English and Theatre education. There she has been involved in the crew in Annie Get Your Gun along with acting in the One Act Festival.
She is truly excited to be interning with such a great program this summer.
Jonathan has been Musical Director/Accompanist for over 20 productions. Most recently he was the elementary band director at Hadley-Luzerne CSD. He was Musical Director for Disney The Little Mermaid for the 2018 Summer Theatre Workshop Some notable productions he has musically directed include: Anything Goes, Little Shop of Horrors, bare: A Pop Opera, RENT, Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr., and 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. At age eight, Jonathan started piano lessons and continued his training for two decades. Jonathan has earned four platinum and two gold rankings with his choruses over three years in the "Great East Festival" and his Select Chorus was chosen to perform at Carnegie Hall in 2014. He is actively involved in the local community through the choral group "Adirondack Voices," the Glens Falls Lions Club, and promoting advocacy for the deaf and hard of hearing.
Maya Puchkoff-Van Gelder
Maya teaches art at Hadley-Luzerne School and her sculptural artwork has been exhibited in several galleries in NYC and Saratoga Springs, NY. She is a graduate of Fordham University, Graduate School of Education; Kansas City Art Institute; and the La Guardia High School for Music and Art and the Performing Arts, NYC. Her exhibition and performance credits include puppetry work that has been used in conjunction with many theaters in NYC including the SoHo Repertory, the Here Arts Center, Lincoln Center Director's Lab, One Arm Red Theater, Pomegranate Puppet Theater, CSV Cultural Center, Rakka Thamm Theater, Los Kabayitos Puppet Theater, La Mama, Etc. Theater. In addition, her sculptural work was in Bergdorf-Goodman's 5th Avenue windows to accompany the evening wear of Yoghi Yamamoto. She is excited to be working with the summer program this year.
Assistant Director & Technical Director
Jovanni most recently directed The Night Before Christmas for the Hometown Christmas event hosted by the Town of Corinth Image Committee. Jovanni is a junior at CCHS and a freshman at ACC, pursuing his high school and college programs simultaneously. One of his most lauded performances was lead role of "Lumiere" in Beauty and the Beast, where he danced, sang and spoke his lines with a cartoonish French accent (2018). This is his 16th production with Adirondack Center Stage. Jovanni is a President's Honors student who performs in the A Capella Fellas, Barbroshop Choir, high school chorus, concert and jazz bands, and is a seasoned dancer (jazz, tap). He intends to pursue a career in technology, and forensics or chemistry, while continuing to participate in theatrical productions in his free time.
Katherine’s love for theatre runs deeply, as she has vivid memories of her parents bringing her to Broadway as a young girl. She is extremely proud of her most important role as Mother to four outstanding children, all of whom love the theatre as much as she does. While being onstage is not her aspiration; we are lucky to have her backstage as her strengths for organization, management, and creativity are endless. She has worked with the Corinth MS/HS Drama club for several years in areas such as student management, costume design, prop production, lead hair and make-up artist and stage management. Katherine holds a Master’s of Special Education degree from Salem State College, which aids in her ability to interact and connect with our actors with an increased understanding of how they learn and communicate.
Norm is Organist, Choir Director and Minister of Music at the First United Methodist Church in Corinth. He was piano accompanist for the 2009 STW production of Willy Wonka Jr., Annie Jr. (2010), Oliver! (2011), Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (2012), A 1920's Midsummer Night's Dream (2013), Once Upon a Mattress (2014), Alice in Wonderland (2015),It's Up to You! New York, New York (2016), Disney The Lion King Jr. (2017), and Disney The Little Mermaid (2018). His original musical, Nudges, was produced in the Fall of 2014 to wide acclaim. He enjoys playing for his friends at the Saratoga Nursing Home, and has played with various local bands and in many shows, despite occasional bouts of common sense and better judgment.

Ashley is a recent graduate of North Country Community College where she studied Criminal Justice. She is attending SUNY Canton pursuing a Bachelors degree in Criminal Investigation while minoring in forensics. Ashley has assisted the Corinth Theatre Guild, Summer Theatre Workshop and Corinth High School Drama Club working the light and sound board for many years. Ashley loves working with the kids in the program and is excited to work with them again.
Cheyenne has been a part of the Summer Program for several years now. She is a recent college graduate from Morrisville State College and will be working the sound board again this year. Some of the shows include Into the Woods, Wizard of Oz, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Alice and Wonderland, A Christmas Carol, Lion King Jr. and The Little Mermaid Jr.
Summer Workshop Administrators
Executive Producer & Grants Administrator
Kendra is an artist and arts enthusiast. She has worked as executive producer and grants administrator for the Summer Theatre Workshop for many years, each year successfully reapplying for multiple program grants. In the program's second year, she directed Willy Wonka Jr. She has been a set and props painter and designer for ACS productions and for plays with Glens Falls Community Theatre as well. Kendra attended the Art Students League in New York City and University of Pennsylvania. She runs her own business, The Sign Studio, which has given Corinth, the surrounding area, and parts of Bucks County, PA a collection of picturesque signs and logos for businesses, churches, and municipalities. She volunteers as Treasurer of the Corinth School CSEA, as Secretary of the Board of Directors at Saratoga Arts, as Secretary and Treasurer of To the Himalayas With Love, Inc. and is a founding member and past president of The Philadelphia Calligraphers' Society. She loves traveling, hiking, canoeing, and "plein air" painting.
Lauren is a theatre artist and foreign language teacher. She has worked with Corinth Theatre Workshop for ten years and was integral to the program's foundation. As Artistic Director, she's involved in public outreach and promotion, program staffing, casting, online presence and play selection. She began her work with ACS as Dorothy and the Wicked Witch in their first summer production of The Wizard of Oz in 2008. She has served the program in a variety of roles since then as director (2013), choreographer (2010-2013), costumer (2010-2017), set designer (2010-2013), grant writer (2010-2018), playwright (2013, 2015, 2016, 2018) and producer (2014-present). She is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College. She attended the NYSSSA – Theatre Program (2009) and the Cambridge Theatre Conservatory (2008). She teaches French and Spanish for St. Mary's-St. Alphonsus School in Glens Falls, and in addition to facilitating the CTW program, during the summer she teaches at Saratoga Arts Theatre Camp. In her limited spare time she enjoys traveling, skiing, roller coasters and writing plays and poems.
