Playwriting Contest

Each year from January through March, we invite storytellers of all experience levels to share their creativity in our Annual Playwriting Contest. Open to both students and members of the greater community, this contest celebrates original voices and compelling theatrical storytelling.

Writers may submit work in one of two categories:

• Short Plays: 10–15 pages
• Full-Length Plays: 45+ pages

Winning plays will be announced in April and given the exciting opportunity to come to life through a staged reading or full production as part of the following season.
To ensure fairness and artistic integrity, all submissions must be:

• Original and all-ages appropriate
• Free from AI-generated content, plagiarism, or copyright infringement

Submission Guidelines:

• Submit your play as a PDF attachment via email to [email protected] 
• Include a brief summary of the work in your submission
• Deadline: March 1
